ENCORE 50 DRAWS PRAISE FROM CES VISITORS
The focus of the Epos demonstration at the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas in January was undoubtedly the Encore 50 speaker system. It had been talked about considerably prior to the opening of the show and many visitors made straight for the Epos room as soon as the show opened to hear the speakers for themselves.
The response was exceptionally good, with barely a flicker of surprise at the price. This flagship model is the most expensive speaker ever designed by Epos and press and dealers alike believe it is worth every penny.
Release is February 2010 and reviews will appear in Hi Fi Choice, Hi Fi World and What Hi Fi in the U.K. within the first two months. The first review in print will be in Germany's Stereoplay magazine, due to appear in the coming weeks.

New Product Line
Epos has recently released a dedicated 5.1 home theatre system.
Constructed in solid MDF, the sculptured cabinets are painted and polished to a black high gloss finish so popular in today's homes. The 4 matching satellite speakers are based on two new drivers from Epos and with two forward firing ports and are well suited to being mounted on or close to a rear wall. The centre channel speaker uses the same drive units as the satellites. An attractive remote controllable powered subwoofer which uses a specially developed 8" paper cone long-throw woofer and 100 Watt amplifier completes the package.
Epos has developed its own AVS 5.1 stand which is both elegant and extremely functional. It features a channel to hide the cables and has been specifically designed to place your speakers at the correct height. The heavy black glass base guarantees stability.
