Epos Ltd is pleased to announce the release of its latest speaker, the ELS 8.
Derived from the ELS 3 bookshelf speaker which sold well for over 6 years, the new, more attractive, ELS 8 has been designed to develop a wider bandwidth and have improved appearance.
The ELS 8 has a larger, internally braced, 18mm thick cabinet with stylish curved front baffle, to reduce diffraction and removable cloth grille to house its ELS polypropylene coned 150mm drivers. In addition, Epos has developed a new 1" metal domed tweeter for the ELS 8 with smoother and extended high frequency range which, together with the increased cabinet size and rear porting, has significantly increased its bandwidth.
The ELS 8 is the first in a new line of lower cost Epos speakers. It is available now in a choice of two vinyl finishes, light maple or black. Works best on the custom ST35 Epos stand.
