| Managing Director Mike Creek has been in the electronics business all his working life. Having worked for a couple of companies after leaving technical college, his ambition to ultimately produce his own budget amplifier led him to establish Creek Audio in 1982.
During the 80's Mordaunt Short acquired both Creek and Epos. Working alongside Epos's founder, Robin Marshall, for several years, it became apparent to Mike that there was a great synergy between the two brands.
He re-acquired Creek in 1993 and in 1999 he purchased the Epos brand enabling him to design a complete range of products for the consumer market - his electronics and loudspeakers being totally complementary to each other.
Mike's interests away from the office lean towards cars - were he not earning a living from the electronics industry, he could probably do quite well as a Formula One historian! And as if he's not sufficiently challenged in his working life, he's contemplating taking the odd flying lesson or two! |
